Peabody Nails: Experience the difference

Peabody Nails is owned by Xuan Cammy Vu, but she is best known as Cammy. The business has been open for 12 years. According to Cammy, there are two permanent employees--Cammy and Jimy--but they hire a third employee during the summertime. They are the busiest during the summer and prom season. They have a steady local clientele year round. Their services include manicures, pedicures, full set, and waxing. For students they offer a 10% discount with proper ID. They take appointments and they also do walk-ins. Forms of payment include cash and credit. MasterCard, Visa, and Discover cards are accepted.

The space isn’t that big. There could be an up and downside to that. The size makes it cozier. The size could be a problem when it starts to get busy the amount of space for each customer could be limited. Since they do have a steady clientele it is easy for them to have more personal conversations. The do have a television which makes good for people that are waiting. Everything was neat.

I would recommend going to this nail salon. They are very personable and they are fully engaged in the needs of the customer.

Review of Petrillos Italian Kitchen

My visit to Petrillo’s was the first time I have been to an Italian restaurant. I didn’t what to expect. Going in, it felt like I was in someone’s dining room. Everyone was so friendly. My waitress was very attentive and made sure I was ok. My roommates and I ordered a variety of food so that we could get a feeling for everything that they were offering. We started off with a Greek salad. It was different because I never had pickles and hots in a salad. Since I was the only one that was 21 in the group, I also got to taste wine. I learned a lot about wine. The waitress had a great knowledge of everything.

We ended ordering chicken caprese, which is sautéed chicken, fresh mozzarella and tomato in light marina; marinated steak tips; and linguini alla olio, which is linguini tossed in garlic and extra virgin oil.

The prices were reasonable, considering the portions. There was a lot of food. We didn’t finish it. Overall, I would rate Petrillo’s with 5 stars. Everything was to my satisfaction. I would definitely go back, and I recommend the restaurant to anyone for a date. Although it’s not the best atmosphere for small children, it would be a great place for a family occasion, as well.

Petrillo's Restaurant

Bottle of red, bottle of white, it is the perfect scene from the beautiful country of Italy. At Petrillo’s Restaurant, you can experience a trip to Tuscany right in the heart of Downtown Peabody.

Petrillo’s is perfect for any occasion. Whether you would like the intimate feel dining in their dining room, or grabbing a homemade meal to go, Petrillo’s is the place to be. Catering is also available, so why not allow the restaurant to do the cooking for your next party. It eliminates stress for you. They do ask that you give 24 hours notice, and for larger orders, at least two weeks.

The dining area can get busy, but reservations are available, and always a good idea. If you can’t make it in, delivery is available Tuesday through Friday during lunch hours for free with a $10 minimum purchase.

The restaurant specializes in pasta entrees on top of chicken, eggplant, and steak entrees as well. Need a quick snack? Grab a slice of pizza. If you are eating light, they offer over a dozen types of salads, all reasonably priced. Petrillo’s has a diverse menu for anyone to enjoy, and the restaurant prides themselves on the satisfaction of the customers.

As the website will tell you, “Quality and freshness is our signature,” so come make your way to Downtown Peabody to enjoy the Italian experience of a lifetime.
